Telephone Comments (Please provide the phone conversation from start to finish. All details are necessary.):

Pam answered the phone immediately and introduced herself and the community. She was very professional and likeable from the start of the conversation. I asked about availability. Another call came in and Pam put me on brief hold. Pam said, "Thank you for the hold. My name is Pam. Do you mind if I get your name?" I replied, “Maribeth”. "Alright Miss Maribeth. What size of an apartment are you looking for?" I said a two-bedroom but I could do with a one-bedroom. Pam said, "I'll get you availability and pricing for both. And how soon are you looking to move?" I said, “the end of October but could go into November”. Pam asked, "And will you be bringing any pets?" I'm not bringing any, I remarked, but am thinking of adopting one. "We are pet friendly." Pam went into the pet policy.

Pam asked, "How many people are going to occupy the apartment, Miss Maribeth?" Just me I replied. Pam asked," are there any features or special needs you are looking for?" It would be nice to have a washer and dryer in unit. Pam said, "Unfortunately we don't have this in any of our Columbia facilities; However, Miss Maribeth, we do have washers and dryers on the very first floor of all of our buildings. So, you would have to leave your apartment, but not your building to do your laundry."

As Pam looked over her availability, she asked me for my contact information. "So, at the current time, it looks like we do not have any one-bedrooms apartments to offer you until January. I do have two -bedroom apartment I can offer you Miss Maribeth. The only thing is that these particular apartments will be available in the first week of November. because they currently are in the process of being renovated." That might be ideal because I'd like to have a two-bedroom I replied. "They are actually in my sister neighborhood, The Bluffs at Hawthorne. The only difference between Hawthorne and Clary's bluff is that Hawthorne has balconies. One is on the second floor with a balcony going for $1,392 The other is on the third floor with a balcony going for $1,442. The third-floor apartments are top level with a cathedral ceiling. Are those within your price range, MIss Maribeth?" Yes, I kinda think the second floor might be more appealing, I replied. Less steps to go up. Pam said,"just so you know as part of our rent special, we are also waiving $350 off of the first month's rent. If you'd like Miss Maribeth, we can set up an appointment for you to come out and look at our model apartment. Are you interested in coming out to see us?" Yes, I replied. Pam asked, "would you give me a moment because I am actually looking at our calendar to see what availability we have today and tomorrow." We discussed what Pam had available and when I could arrange my schedule to drop by. Pam, "For safety guidelines we only allow two people in our office at a time, Miss Maribeth. Everyone over the age of 2 must wear a mask properly fitted over their nose and mouth. Before we can officially invite you to see us, we do have to ask you some COVID 19 questions." Pam asked me the COVID questions. I was cleared to come in either today or tomorrow. We thanked each other and hung up.
