As soon as the introductions were done she went into the back office away from where I was sitting. She was gone for about 5 minutes. She came back with her coat on and a folder in her hand. She handed me the folder saying it had all the price information and asked me for my drivers license. We were off to the apartment. We did not talk at all about the apartments while in the office.

Comment (Provide as much detail on the demonstration as possible. This is a mandatory box.):

We had a short walk to the apartment. As we were walking Stephanie asked why I was moving, I told her my husband was going to go to Maryland State University. She mentioned that the University was only a few miles away. The leasing office felt cold and uncomfortable. The layout of the office was awkward. When I asked if there was central air Stephanie said no. That immediately became my objection. Stephanie said they put window AC units in the apartments when the weather gets hot. I was concerned the bedroom would still be warm since she told me they put the unit in the living room. Stephanie said the AC unit is large enough to cool the entire apartment.

Stephanie did not ask me to fill an application out. I did tell her I was looking at a few more places that day. She did send me home with an application and she told me the application price per person. The brochure she gave me was a folder with a floorplan, application and a price list with application tips. She did not give me a business card but her name was printed on the rate sheet.

Comment (Provide as much detail as possible. This is a mandatory box.):

The community was hard to find because there are many communities in very close proximity that all look the same and nothing to let you know where one ends and another begins. The dumpsters I saw had old furniture and trash set around them. The office itself seemed cold and not friendly at all, chairs were hard and uncomfortable and the set up of the office seemed awkward.

The building with the vacant I viewed had a bad odor. There was a man standing right outside the vacant apartment. I actually felt unsafe going into the apartment with him standing there although Stephanie did lock the door behind us. The apartment had what looked like mold around the living room by the base boards.
