I walked into the sales office and approached a woman that looked up at me from her desk and asked how she could help me. I said I was here to meet with Chiquita and she simply responded, “yes” I had to ask if she was Chiquita. She said, “yes”. She immediately stood up and shook my hand.

She told me she was getting a guest card for me to fill out and she offered me something to drink. She asked when I was looking to move, and I told her within the next 30 days.

She told me the income level to qualify. She said the application fee was $39 and the security deposit would be no more than $250 and would depend on your credit history. She said they are pet friendly and asked if I was bringing any pets. I told her I was not. She said they pay 80% of water and gas. She also explained renter’s insurance and how it would be less to use their renter’s insurance. She said it is free parking.

I told her I was bringing a 15-year-old child so is there kids in the building. She said they really don’t have a lot of kids but there are some. She said the kids can walk to the elementary school that is close by and the high school is a little further away. I asked if there was any gang activity and she said, “not at all” and she told me they do have courtesy officers everyday who are employed with PG Police. She said she had a 13-year-old, so she understood. She asked me why I was moving, and I said I was transferring jobs. She asked me where I was moving from and I told her White Marsh. She asked if I have been looking and I told her this is the first place but she did not ask me what other properties I had on my list to see or when I would be making a decision.

She confirmed my deadline to move was the end of month and I agreed. She explained the approval process would take 72 hours pending my background check. She walked me through all the steps of the application process. She explained EPremium insurance.

Chiquita mentioned the pool only after I asked and she went on to tell me they don't have a gym but Planet Fitness is in the area along with a lot of shopping options. The model was very clean. The parking lot was free of trash and I did not see any overflowing dumpsters.
