Vanessa was standing when I arrived and shook my hand to greet me. She introduced herself with a smile. She was dressed professional and appropriate. she was wearing a nametag and she introduced herself as we shook hands. She seemed prepared for my visit when I arrived and immediately asked me for my driver's license. My overall first impression was definitely a good one.

Vanessa asked me where I currently lived and confirmed when I was planning on moving. We went over what special features I was looking for and Vanessa showed me both an older kitchen in the leasing office as well as an updated kitchen with white cabinets when we toured the model. At the time of our meeting, Vanessa did not recall or ask for my phone number. She did go over how many people would be living in the apartment and if I had any pets. I let her know that I would be moving with one cat. Towards the end of the tour when we were back in the leasing office Vanessa did ask for me to write down my email and I did give it to her at that time.

I was shown a two bedroom model apartment. Vanessa chatted with me about the community to build rapport during the tour. She discussed how convenient the location was to Towson and the i83 corridor. She also mentioned that Versailles had very large apartments, especially for the area. Vanessa asked me if the apartment offered enough space for my belongings. The leasing office was formal yet comfortable. After stating my concerns about noisy children and possible crime Vanessa was able to acknowledge my concerns and provide information as to how to overcome those concerns. She told me that I could contact the police about safety in the community. She also told me that I could possibly request an apartment on a higher floor if noise was a concern for me. She addressed noise instead of noisy children. During the tour, Vanessa addressed my needs about wanting an updated apartment and she also made several recommendations that could possibly work.

Vanessa did ask me if I was interested in applying today as an attempt to close. She did ask me to fill out an application and she went over the application process in detail. Vanessa created urgency by letting me know that there was a waiting list for the larger apartments. I was given a brochure as well as an application that included application tips. Based on Vanessa's presentation she seemed to be selling the apartments and said that she really thought I would like living there.

When I asked Vanessa if it was a safe community she told me to definitely check with the police to get a true sense of the community. She also let me now that the residents were very long-term and really enjoyed living at Versailles.

The community was easy to locate yet felt tucked away. The signage made the community easy to locate as well as finding the leasing office. The parts of the community that I experienced were very neat and trash free. I arrived around 5 pm so by the time the tour started It was dark outside and I did not get a good look at the surrounding area. Nothing seemed to be in disrepair. I was not shown the laundry room I'm assuming because there was in-unit laundry. I did not see the pool/playground area doing the tour either. Overall, my impression was a positive one. The leasing office was comfortable and clean and the model was well staged and very large, larger than most apartments I've toured. Overall, my impression was positive.
