Telephone Comments (Please provide the phone conversation from start to finish. All details are necessary.):

Anthonett answered the phone on the first ring and identified both herself and the community. I inquired as to apartment availability. Anthonett asked, "What are you looking for and when are you looking to move?" I said, "I would like to have a two-bedroom. And I would like to move either the end of this month or the middle of next." Anthonett asked, "Does around about the 6th of November work for you?" I said, "That would work nicely." Anthonett asked, "What kind of price range did you have in mind?" I asked, "What are the prices of your apartment?" Anthonett said, "I have one-bedroom, do you have any preferences related to your apartment? A balcony? A first floor?" I replied, "I really do not want to be on the first floor. I would like to have a two bedroom. And it would be nice to have a balcony." Anthonett repeated, "Nice to have a balcony, no first floor. If you don't mind, can I get a name and a phone number from you just in case this call is disconnected. I gave Anthonett my contact information. Anthonett, "And were you taking a pet with you? Because I do rent for three communities. I want to see what works best for you." I replied, "I do not have one right now, but I would like to get one." Anthonett said, "So just to let you know, if you do decide to get a pet, it will be a $25 premium attached to your rent and a $250 non-refundable pet fee." I said, "That would be fine." Anthonett said, "and we can always do that at a later date. I have a one-bedroom currently that goes for $1,292. It is on the first floor. That's available after November 13 and then I have a two-bedroom that's going for $1,402 on the middle floor in my Clary's community." I responded, "Oh. That sounds good." Anthonett said, "If you want something with a balcony, that would be my Hawthorn community. That is a little closer to the Town Center. It has a balcony. And that one I can do $1,432. It's a renovated unit. So, you'll have updated appliances, black appliances, granite countertop, pendant lighting and that one is going for $1,432." I replied, "That would work."

Do you want me to set something up so you can come in and take a look at our model? Or do you want me to send something so you can do a virtual tour of our property?" Me, "I would like to come in and take a look. Are you open on the weekend?" Anthonett talked about the hours each day the community was open, "It's best if you make an appointment. Otherwise, when you do come in, you'd have to wait in the parking lot just to make sure we don't have more than two persons in the office and then we can take you from there." I told her I wanted to look at my calendar and asked if I could call back to make a firm appointment. Anthonett was agreeable to this, "And how did you hear about us?" Me, "The internet. Probably apartment finder or something." Anthonett, "Okay, no problem. I'll also check as well to see if we have any other options in terms of pricing. And I will call you back if I find anything else." We ended the conversation.
