Telephone Comments (Please provide the phone conversation from start to finish. All details are necessary.):

Gia answered the phone right away and identified herself and the community. I inquired about vacancies. Gia, "Sure what size are you looking for and when are you looking to move?" I explained I would like a two-bedroom, but could settle for one and wanted to move the end of the month, but could probably push it into next month if necessary, Gia said, "No problem. I'll look up and see what I can offer you. Can I ask you a few questions so I can better help you? Can I ask your name?" “Karen”, I replied. Gia said, "And Miss Karen, what is your last name?" “Smith”, I replied. She asked how I heard about them. I said, “Internet”. Gia also asked for my phone number and valid email address. Gia asked, "Are you bringing any pets with you?" I do have one cat but would like to get a second. Gia said two cats were welcome and went over the pet policy with me as well as forms needed completed by a vet and license needed. She said, "I can give you more information and paperwork that would help you in obtaining that information”. Can I ask you also, are you the only person living in that apartment?" “Yes”, I replied. "And you said end of this month? Let me look and see what we have. I want to tell you we have a good promotion. We are giving $50 off of our rent. So whatever price point I give you, I've already deducted $50 off the rent. We are also taking $300 off of your first month's move in money, okay? So, it's like a sale." Gia started talking about what was available. "I have to ask you, are there any special features you are looking for in the apartment?" I asked, “would you have a fireplace?” "Not a fireplace, Ms. Karen, we have gas heat, which is really better and we do have a really beautiful apartment. It is renovated. We actually knocked the kitchen wall out and is an open floor plan. It's called an island renovate with a great price of $1,157. that's for a one-bedroom on a middle floor. We have a key to that one. Is that in your price range?" I replied, “Yes”.

Gia checked both of her communities to check that she is not missing anything. But assured me that this one-bedroom was a very good one. There was another one-bedroom but it was $1,197. "It's an island renovate. It's just a little small difference in the features as to why one is priced higher than the other. You are still getting the same beautiful, spacious 741 square foot apartment, fully carpeted and kitchen and bathroom completed renovated. What I want to offer you, Ms. Karen, is an opportunity to come out to the leasing office, sit down, get a feel for the community, and we can actually go look at this one-bedroom apartment because I have a key to it. And if you wanted to secure it, you could apply and the application fee is $25. We are open 7 days a week." We talked about when I could come in. I promised to call Monday and we hung up.
