Telephone Comments (Please provide the phone conversation from start to finish. All details are necessary.):

Diamond answered the phone promptly and identified both herself and the community. She was extremely warm and welcoming to the community. I inquired if she had any apartments currently for rent. She asked me how many bedrooms I needed and when I needed the apartment. I told her I would like to have two-bedrooms and would need it for some time in November. My move-in date was somewhat flexible. Diamond looked and said she actually had a two-bedroom available right now and it would be available for early November. It currently goes for $1,052 and is newly renovated on the top floor with vaulted ceilings. The kitchen is updated with all black appliances and upgraded bathroom. She asked if this was in my price range, and it is I told her. Diamond also stated that along with the rent, water is included and that is the only utility that is included. But they do take care of the sewage and trash disposal. The County usually charges for these things, but it is taken care of at this community. Parking is also included she stated.

Diamond asked my name and started calling me Miss Debbie. She re-introduced herself as Diamond. She asked how I found out about Mansfield Woods and I told her I found them on the internet, probably She said a lot of people find Mansfield Woods that way. Diamond asked if I was familiar with the Essex area. I said I am not from that area, but want to move there because it is closer to work. Diamond talked about how these apartments are centrally located, especially if someone is not familiar with the area, Mansfield is located right off the highway. The community is just two streets over from grocery stores and places to eat. Diamond stated that despite the COVID pandemic, the apartments are once again open for people to come out and tour the community in person. She asked if I might be interested in coming in to view a model. I said I would.

Diamond informed me that although the particular apartment I wanted was not available at this time, she does have a two-bedroom apartment that I can see. She was booked with appointments for that, but she said they open at 11:30 the following day and I could come in at that time if I wanted. I had a doctor's appointment in the morning and I did not know how long that would take so I asked if I could call Diamond when I was finished and make a firm appointment to come in. Diamond thought that was a good idea and although she would not be there tomorrow, her lovely co-worker could take care of me.

Diamond said if I was not familiar with the actual apartments, it would be a good idea to visit the website at Once I was on the website, I was to click on Essex and it would bring up Mansfield Woods and I could view some pictures of the actual apartments. She asked if I had a floor preference or anything. I said I did not want to be on the bottom floor and asked if this was on the top floor. Diamond said yes, and since it was on top, it was the only floor that featured a vaulted ceiling. She also talked about the additional storage that was located on the middle floor. They provide the storage locker and I would just have to provide the lock. And then on the first floor, the laundry facilities are located. She went on to talk about how these buildings are resident controlled which means that the only people that can gain access in or out of the building would be with a key or to be buzzed in. I would have an intercom in the home so I would know who wanted to be buzzed in. Again, Diamond re-iterated that although she would not be in the community the next day, she had a lovely co-worker that would take excellent care of me. I asked if Diamond was there any other day this week and she said she would be working Friday. But she expressed urgency and urged me not to wait that long because that apartment might not be available that long and they are unable to hold apartments. She did not want me to miss out. And again, she urged me to come in as quickly as possible.

Diamond asked for my contact information, including my phone number and email address. She joked that I was the coolest mom ever with that email. We laughed. And again, she assured me that whoever is there tomorrow would take very good care of me. We ended the call
