Tameka answered the phone after the fourth ring. She was very friendly over the phone. She answered the call stating the community name and she introduced herself. I told her I was interested in an apartment and she proceeded to ask me several identifying questions. She wanted to know when I was looking to move and the size apartment I needed. Additionally, she asked me how I had heard about the community. She was able to give me the price range of the two bedroom/two bathrooms and she also mentioned the utilities that was not included in the rent.

She did not mention any of the apartment features or the community's amenities. She also did not mention the neighborhood conveniences. It would have been nice to have that information before visiting the community so that I would know what I was going to view. She quickly asked if I had time to come out and visit the community. Once we set up an appointment, she made sure to get my contact information.

I was looking forward to visiting the community because Tameka was very pleasant to speak with, but I did wish I had more information about the property.

The property was very easy to find off of a main road. There were plenty of directional signs to direct prospects to the leasing office. I did not notice any trash on the property and the dumpsters were not overfilled. The grass was cut low. I did not notice any repairs needed or areas needing painting. Once inside the office, I noticed that it was small, but clean and well lit.

Upon entering into the leasing office, Tameka stood up and greeted me with a smile. She did introduce herself. She confirmed that I was Keisha and asked how I was doing. She was professionally dressed in slacks and a blazer. She informed me that she already had a lot of information from our call but needed me to fill out a guest card as well. She was very cheerful and she did seem genuinely interested to assist me.

Tameka didn't ask many other questions besides having me fill out the guest card. She used the information given on the card to further see my needs. The card asked again about my move in date, number of occupants, pets, and apartment size. Afterwards, she told me we would be viewing a vacant and that I could follow her in my car to the unit.

Tameka took me in to see a two bedroom vacant. The vacant was in good condition and was well lit. She walked with me through, detailing the features of each room. She went over the major features of the apartment and their benefits. She discussed the major benefit of the apartment, which was its size.

Tameka asked if I was familiar with the current move-in special going on and proceeded to tell me the cost savings, TV, and fire stick giveaways happening currently if I leased. The special was very enticing.

After the demonstration, Tameka handed me a packet outside of the building explaining the contents inside, to include prices, floor plans, and the application process. She let me know to reach out to the office at any time if I had any questions. She never asked if I wanted to apply and she didn't question my next steps in the process She also never invited me back to the office. I would have liked to know more about the application process besides just finding out in the packet. I also would have like to know more about the area conveniences. Based on her personality and genuine concern, I would have rented from Tameka.

When asked about safety, Tameka suggested going online to read reviews on certain websites to gain more information. When asked if there would be kids in the available building, she responded that she doesn't keep track of that. She stated that Fair Housing laws wouldn't allow that information to be disclosed.
